A resident was shot in the complex last week. NOT SAFE TO LIVE HERE! If you want an apartment complex that pays you in points you can convert to gift cards for uploading photos, points/cash for writing a good review for them, etc., has your visitors towed, doesn't allow residents to throw their own trash in the dumpster, doesn't respond to maintenance or other requests, has huge rent increases, lacks insulation so you hear every step from the apartment above you and every sound outside as if they are talking in your home..... read more

Hi - I’m writing this review to inform people that the Property Manager at the Vela on the Park, Chris Pell, cannot be trusted. He was the Leasing Manager at the Allure in Stamford where he helped my wife and I find an apartment. Subsequent to him helping my wife and I find an apartment, he started texting, DM’ing and having an affair with my wife. Chris knew that she was married, but continued on with such behavior anyway. Worst Management Team. I was basically forced out of my unit after the freeze which caused flooding to my apartment. They don't care about their residents. I was lied to on the timeline and told I had to take a smaller unit or terminate my contract. I offered to keep paying rent until the changes were made to avoid a move but the manager said this was not an option b/c my unit would take too long to fix.
