Be careful with their unusually long contracts, which they will hold you hostage in even if you are poorly represented by their agents. Most buyers and sellers contracts are a maximum of 90 and 180 days but theirs are 180 and 365. With the introduction of lower fee structures in the market, their firm 3% + $375 commission on each transaction is only going to hurt them in the long run. You’d be much better off working with a different company or at least a different Berkshire office.
