It has taken over a month to simply CHANGE MY ADDRESS. It is still incorrect!! Apparently changing an address is a complicated process. They don't process address changes when you fill out their form and send it in by mail with your payment. They don't process it when you call in to get it corrected. I'm now told it will be resolved if I fill out another form, email it and wait 2 buisness days, but of course I have to call back to verify that it is done correctly (yes that's what the 3rd representative said). Horrible bank. I have an auto loan through them and TWICE now the autopay has stopped working. They send you an email when you do pay your loan, but they don't send one if you've missed a payment, no matter how many times I have the customer service people walk me through the settings. They have two separate online systems with different logins for me to maintain my loan, despite the fact I don't do any other banking with them. Had an overdraft for $37 dollars because I had removed the balance to another account. I paid the $37 online and debited the account to have the money pulled. Berkshire Bank froze my online banking because they could not pull the funds. Called customer services and spoke with David & McKenzie and neither could help me. They said the funds will be pulled at nightly processing. Well, why did I get an email today stating they could not pull the funds. Neither person could explain this to me. Their "mortage group" cashed the check and took the money from my BoA account for the mortage payment. Took almost a week for them to post it to my mortage account and then charged a late fee when in fact they took the money well within the grace period. It's like they waited to credit the payment to charge the late fee. Today I get a notice that they are moving my morgage servicing to the bank. No why or what for given. Not a 1 star but a ZERO star. This company is atrocious. Never in my life have I had the level of service seen from this company. I asked for a quote on paying off my car and they shut down the ability to even make a regular payment online. Just because I asked for a quote doesn't mean it is truly going to happen. The emails are horribly written, not executed in a timely manner. When I get a new car and if they say we can get you into Berkshire I will decline. Horibble rates and horrible people. DO BETTER.

This bank deserves a negative rating if that is even possible. I have the misfortune of having my car loan threw this bank. Unknowingly to me the person I was on the loan with did not make a payment and racked up late fees I spent countless hours on the phone and email trying to work out a deal to help me get the payments down the lady I had originally spoken with was super sweet and understanding. Zero stars, closed branches, fees for everything, online access to anything more than a year old costs $$, currently waiting over 24 hours for email response, and so far 45 minutes on hold, all I am requesting is a copy of a couple statements from 2019, I have spent parts of 2 days trying to get something this simple

As a new customer to Berkshire Bank, I have to give them 1 star, but I want to give them ZERO!! The worst customer service EVER!! I waited on hold 35 min, only to have Dillon hang up on me when I stated I wanted the phone # to the President's office to file a complaint. Joyce, in their subordination dept. took 60 days to get a subordination done and now wants to charge me another $350.00 for a new appraisal and subordination agreement. I would not recommend this bank. I had a very disappointing experience with them re: overdraft fees. This was not an account I used alot but I made a charge in late February that caused it to go in the negative. By the time I realized it, several overdraft fees had been charged. I called to ask that some the fees be credited and one fee was credited, and I made two deposits thinking that made the account positive.
