Dr. Telez is the BEST!!! A great eye surgeon and a GREAT person. Having my cataract surgery was the best Christmas present this year!
Takes forever every visit. No sense to it. Baseline is usually 2_4 hours. Never on time. But if i were late i would be cancelled. Or perhaps charged.
Do your homework before surgery. I was told I could pay for multi focal lenses or they would put in the mono focal. No one told me that I could choose what mono focal lenses they put in. I did not know to ask for near vision lenses and they put in distance focus. I cannot read labels on shampoo bottles in the shower or read anything. It is a serious problem because I cannot read my ventilator setting without glasses and glasses do not fit over my ventilator mask. As the saying goes LET THE BUYER BEWARE.
The optical staff is knowledge and friendly. I was impressed by their professionalism. I highly recommend visiting them for your new eyewear! You won't regret it! I purchased eyeglasses and sunglasses...which I ❤️! Thank you! I will be back!
Berks Eye is a complete eye care facility and is able to meet all your needs. I recently returned to contact lenses wear after a number of years and was very satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Horst.
My husband, who works at Berks, and I are recommending this place to everyone! Dr. Izzo is a wonderful and experienced surgeon. His LASIK procedure is flawless and done in a timely manner! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient with every question you might have. They're an exceptional team. All in all, Berks Eye is a great place to go for a checkup or LASIK. Highly recommended!!
I called Berks Eye as a new patient, as I was having irritation with contact lens wear. The office was very accommodating, and was able to see me the next day. When following up for my medical visit I proceeded with having a routine exam and contact lens evaluation with Dr. Horst. She was professional and efficient. The whole staff was amazing. I couldn't be happier with my switch the Berks Eye.
