I came to Dr. Huong feeling completely defeated by a persistent eye condition. Had my eye exam here recently since they take VSP. Probably one of the nicest optometrists I've met! Filling out the forms online before the exam was easy, and it seems they have a lot of availability for appointments. They provide sunglasses/shades if you get your eyes dilated.
I started having sudden flashes of light while visiting Berkeley and called to see if they could check out my retina. They got me in immediately and Dr. Hoang conducted an extremely comprehensive examination of my eyes and retina that lasted over an hour. Gentle, warm, knowledgeable, a clear communicator. Best optometry experience in decades. My highest recommendation.
