RecommendedToday we had to make the difficult decision to give our beloved German Shepherd Dozer his well deserved walk over the Rainbow bridge. Dr. Jill Shiffman & Dr. Leah Van Blarcom provided outstanding care which gave our family more time with our family dog. Their compassion for us as well as for Dozer allowed a peaceful end to his wonderful life. I would recommend Bergen County Veterinary Center to anyone with fur babies! Our six week old kitten, Zoey, became ill and needed a thorough exam. I called BCVC and was given an appointment within an hour. When I arrived, the staff members were extremely friendly and kind. They took Zoey inside promptly and returned her to me as soon as possible (COVID-19 precautions). The veterinarian I spoke to was extremely down to earth and compassionate. I can't express my gratitude enough about the kind and compassionate team at the Bergen County Veterinary Center! They provided excellent care for our Charlotte and they did so in the middle of a pandemic. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to for being so kind to us.

Drs Schiffman and Halloran are amazing, as are the other vets we have seen there. A huge shout out to them for their patience with my scared girl, Jolie, AND such amazing vet techs who have worked with her. The latest was JOELY!! What an amazing and incredibly astute young woman she is!!
Dr Lewis and dr Halloran are particularly great, as is the rest of the staff. I “vet shopped” for a while until finding BCVC. They go above and beyond to help you take care of your pets and are always so kind and patient. My dog was constantly sick for a long time due to old age and BCVC always accommodated us for last minute appointments, testing etc. will be using them for my next dog too :)
