Poor post-sales support. The sales staff were not knowledgeable enough to answer questions about the vehicle or the dealer-installed modifications, and they showed little effort to ask or find out. They did not answer all of my questions and shared inaccurate information on the ones they did address. The titling department rushed the title and payoff paperwork to the DMV for our trade-in but has been dragging their feet on registering the new car with no explanation. I called every VW dealership in the area before going with Berge, and it wasn't close. Mark and Iven were straightforward, professional, and gave me the best deal — no nonsense, no games. That combination is rare in this industry and I won't take it for granted. Berge has a customer for life.
Their service department is a joke. My daughter has had issues every visit. WHY make an appointment if you aren't going to look at the car for 3 days? You do not offer loaners, so just leave a person hanging. After talking with the manager Mark, he stated her car would be waiting for her, but it wasn't. Still had to wait. They were given a blank check to look at and repair her car, and they just didn't give a crap. If it wasn't for the sales department, we would have never chosen this place.
This is the best Volkswagen dealership that I have ever worked with. It’s my third. Niko in service is amazing. He communicates frequently with status updates. Greg in sales is kind and really works with you.
I had a fantastic experience working with Berge Volkswagen working with Gregg. He was efficient, knowledgable, and all around very helpful.
