I had an excellent experience at this dental clinic. The dentist was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain every step of the procedure. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the environment was clean and modern. I felt completely at ease during my treatment. Took my daughter today; after mentioning that she has a hearing aid, they continued to talk too quietly for her to hear them properly and they would instead try to talk to me (this is not how your accommodate a disability). There was an overhead tv in the room which they left on an adult talk show instead of something kid appropriate. They also didn't give her a choice of fluoride flavour, giving her a flavour that had fer gagging for the next 30 minutes. I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist, so it always takes me years to muster up the bravery to go. Had some issues with my previous dentist here in Fort York/City Place, called Bentway Dental for some info, and they were way more on top of things, which made me feel better about a visit. Office was dirty. I scheduled a full cleaning and checkup/exams. I was not told upon arrival there was no dentist in the office for the second half of my appointment. The hygienist was not very careful - even after I told him to be more gentle around the wire on my bottom teeth. When I was told there was no dentist for my checkup I was appalled.
