Receptionist was very rude when she tried checking me in. She asked for my driver's license and insurance card. I have Tricare select through the military, she told me they don't accept it for the primary insurance. They accept Humana, Tricare is under Humana. Nope we don't take that, argued my case and seen I was not getting anywhere and just left. I will never recommend them to anyone.
The provider I never had an issue with. There is something definitely going on though. I just found out a 18 months after my first visit, that none of my visits that year were covered on insurance. Which doesn't make any sense seeing as how I have multiple doctors and specialists and everyone else was covered. They don't return phone calls and they can't explain why it took 18 months to tell me I owe them $700 for 4 visits where nothing other than talking was done... I won't be going back.
My doctor referred me to Dr. Al-Khatib and his office never responded or returned my calls to set-up an appointment. Sadly, never received a letter or any communication whatsoever. Will have to go out of town to finally see a neurologist.
The doctor has always been so nice and knowledgeable! He listened to what I have to say and leaded me to the right direction with my issue! The staff are very nice as well
I love this doctor, but this is the most unprofessional clinic that I have ever seen. No one answers the phone. You are prompted to leave a message and then get a message that the mailbox is full. They do not respond to pharmacies for refills. Unbelievable! This has been going on for months!
I have been a patient of Dr. Al-Khatib for over 2 years. His professionalism & care have been outstanding.
The Dr. is ok .. but his office staff is USELESS. They are rude will not do what they ask you them too. They lie to you. Been trying to get my husbands records sent to a new Dr. cause we are sick and tired of dealing with his staff. I have been trying since the middle of April and our new Dr. has also tried 2 times to get them, Here it is June and they are still not sent.I have called 5 times my husband called 3 time and the Dr. 2 twice. I cant see how he is still in business with incompetent staff he has working for him.
Dr Al-Khatib is knowledgeable about many different issues when it comes to the brain and the nervous system; therefore he knows what works and what doesn’t for many. However, he is aware that people and problems are not a one size fits all. His office staff are friendly and they do all that they can to help in anyway they can. I highly recommend him and a plus that’s he’s easier and quicker to get in to when all others have several months wait for new patients.
The Doctor himself is great... If you can actually get to see him. His staff is absolutely HORRENDOUS. They are rude, dont care about the patients, and dont know what they're doing half when it comes to insurance and billing. It has been a disaster trying to work with them to get critical treatment processed and done. I solely would never recommend this office due to his staff.
