It used to be better, the food is now fairly average. My burger tasted burnt though it was properly cooked inside and the fries were limp, lukewarm and undercooked, and the little pots of ketchup and burger sauce were only half full. My friend’s shrimp and grits had 3 shrimp and about 1/3 cup of grits, but he said it tasted fine. They initially got my order wrong but remade it fairly quickly. Otherwise the service was friendly and average speed.
Dined on 3/28/26 / 39th Anniversary dinner. Been there many times. Always a nice, quiet comfortable place with a sense of intimacy. The menu was diverse, but a little disappointing in that their only steak meals are either $50 or served in a "mexican" style with peppers and cilantro. I had the worst birthday dinner ever! My partner has made it tradition to take me to Benihanas every year on my birthday. Well this year, I decided to try someplace new. Somewhere we both have never tried. We decided on Bentleys. We got there and really love the area, we felt like we fit in, as we really like to dress up for these occasions.
