He is without a doubt the very best Doctor I have ever come in contact with. His bedside manner is awesome, he knows his stuff, and works to get his patients in good health from the inside out. Plus his office staff is super courteous, patient, and smart.
He is brusque, tense, judgemental, lacking in kindness or compassion, if you have cheap or low-paying insurance. his eye is *definitely* on the almighty dollar. I've felt insulted, marginalized, etc. ... if I really had him as a last option, i'd try homeopathy or prayer only

Your perception isn't correct and I would be happy to discus it with you. We must have done something wrong to make you feel the way that you do. I have provided services, since the 1980's, to HIV patients, knowing well I would never get paid. I am one of only a few private practices that still accepts state poorly paid plans for primary care to HIV patients. I do my best for everyone in a broken health care system. I do my best. My long time patients understand that.
