Dr. Pulikottil really listened when I told him how active I am. He thought hard about which type of surgery and recovery exercise plan would best meet my needs, given the hand fracture I experienced and the bone structure I have. Follow-ups --X-rays to clinically verify re-stabilization of my bones, as well as conversation to enquire how I feel-- have been brief, but nonetheless regular, effective, and reassuring.
Dr. Pulikkottil was able to help me since the first visit, he explained the procedure he was going to do to be able to help me out, after surgery the post visits had been great everyone at his office is super nice and helpful making sure I'm taking care off since I have to drive 3 hrs to see him. I am a physician myself and recognize there are many good hand specialists, but when I needed surgery myself for a major thumb injury, I went to see Dr Pulikkottil. He was very accommodating and I am very happy with the experience and the outcome. I recommend him very highly.

Dr. Pulikkottil assisted in a life threatening emergency surgery I had to have for a Ruptured Spinal Fluid cyst. After the leak was found and fixed by my Neurosurgeon Dr. Pulikkottil came in to add a 2nd layer of patching to the area. Normally this would involve a relocation of fat tissue to cover the area, but I did not have enough excess fat tissue to accommodate this solution. I crushed 2 of my fingers and he was able to get screws into both of them giving me back nearly full function of them after only 7 weeks.
Dr. Pulikkottil is very skilled, knowledgable, and very compassionate. You know exactly what is going to happen during the pre-op conversation, surgery, and post-op. After surgery he takes the time to call the family members to let them know how successful the surgery was and makes sure to ask if you have any additional questions. He wants the best results for all his patients.He has a great personality and makes you feel comfortable in a very stressful situation. I would recommend him to everyone I know.
