The food was amazing...can't complain..our first time but definitely coming back !!!
I have been going to Benley since it first opened. Although there have been many changes since then, their Vietnamese food remains fresh / flavorful and the service good. The venue located in a shopping center is on the small side, has minimalistic decor, with eclectic tunes playing in the background. It is the consistently great food that brings me back. Benley This is one of Long Beach's best kept secrets. And for good reason. The menu at this little Vietnamese restaurant isn't extensive, and every dish is wonderful. Exceptionally high recommendations for their shaken filet, their wonderful bowls of steaming pho soup, and their delicious charred pork and lemongrass spring rolls. Prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly. Watch out for a wait on the weekends, though, but it goes quickly.
Vietnamese Gourmet!! This is a great hidden gem!! It's located in the corner of a strip mall in Los Alamitos, but you won't be disappointed once you step inside. It's a very minimalistic atmosphere and not that big. Make sure if you're there during peak dining hours to prepare for a wait. The food will make that wait worth it. It's so good!!! Their Filet & Potatoes is awesome and their Pho always gets great reviews. The staff is very nice also. The price is average, but the food is worth it.
