I have been a patient of Dr. Herms for one year seeing him every six months. I am completely pleased with his care. When he walks into the exam room, he is completely prepared. Without carrying any chart with him, you can tell by his conversation with you that he is completely knowledgeable about your condition and status. He takes plenty of time during the visit to discuss blood test results and his opinion about the patient's status. He has a great personality. Dr Herms met me and we discussed results of my abdominal mri. He explained that he was the followup specialist AFTER colon cancer surgery. He then gave me two recommendations for surgeons AND personally called the one I selected to expedite my care. After my colon cancer surgery, hegot me into a chemo programthat has been monitored regularly and been received in my system without complications. I have recommended him already to a friend recovering from prostate Cancer surgery.
