Dr. Niland is a doctor that cares and wants to get to the bottom of the health issue. I am so happy with this GI group of doctors especially Dr. Niland!
My hubby has been haven digestion issues for a while, and has a new symptom where his food is coming back up through his nose. He has been calling everyday this week and has yet to hear back from the Dr. My hubby could easily drown or get a bad infection in his lungs due to the food coming back up, and Dr Niland seems as if he doesn't care. And the Dr knows he needs surgery to fix this issue, cause he has told my hubby that, that is what needs to be done to stop the digestion issues.
Dr. Niland is the first GI I have had that actually listened to everything I had going on. He didn't quickly diagnose me and send me out the door. We talked through everything, he ordered appropriate tests and not just the standard run of the mill. His Nurse Practitioner Nakia was amazing too. She evaluated me first and caught on to everything I have been dealing with for three years and relayed it easily to him before he came into the room. His nurse couldn't have been nicer.
