I had Dr. Newman as my neurosurgeon when my ex hit me so hard that it caused a subdural hematoma and my brain moved 4 mm inside my skull. Dr. Newman showed great concern and care regarding my injury and took my case very seriously, even stating that my ex should be charged with attempted murder and reiterating that to law enforcement. I appreciate Dr Newman for being an advocate for me and showing such care for me at one 9f my darkest hours in life.
Great bedside manner, very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable make your decisions about your care and treatment. Only bad thing I can say is that I had clips placed for an aneurysm in my brain and I asked for the card that was supposed to be issued to me for my implants and he told me they don't issue them any more. That was a lie and now I have trouble getting MRIs done without what seems like an act of congress to make it happen. I have to carry a copy of my surgical notes around. If I could give an unlimited number of stars, I would. Dr. Newman and his team were incredible from the start. My mom was rushed into the ER, and he quickly went into action to save her life. She almost died on the table during surgery. She had a dural arteriovenous fistula burst. It is a rare condition that 2% of the population experiences. Dr Newman preformed a coiling of an aneurysm in my brain, in 2014, in Dallas Texas. Dr Newman is a great doctor with good bedside manners. Every question I asked was explained or shown to me in x-rays. I'm still grateful today for God using Dr Newman to save my life. Thanks again, take care!
