My arm/elbow surgery resulted with 14 screws, a plate, and a titanium elbow. As an older, cranky patient, I can tell you Dr. Mauck exceeded my expectations of kindness, caring, and compassion. But, above this, his professionalism is off the charts in excellence, matched by his brilliance and expertise. My prayers are that I never need Dr. Mauck again BUT if I do, please Father in heaven, let him be my surgeon. ***I am not Dr. Mauck's Mom, nor am I related to him in any way.

Dr. Mauck was professional, yet pleasant in manner. He highlighted my fracture line on the printout of the digital x-rays and through the use of a pencil and his hands demonstrated how my bones should be lined up. He then described my options and respected my choice. As my first course of action, I chose to have my radial head fracture set and put in a molded splint- a painful choice. Dr. Mauck and his assistants prepared the area and kept me informed and encouraged throughout the procedure.
