Dr. Downie is very caring. Answers your questions and gets back to you when he says he will. He really listens to you and that is very important.
Dr. Downie is very personable and down-to-earth. He's one of several oncologists I'm talking to and don't know whether he'll be my cancer doctor but he impressed me very favorably. His staff is excellent and courteous.
I actually cried happy tears walking out to the car after seeing Dr Downie and visiting with Vivian and the other gal in the lab. You allowed me to accompany my wheelchair bound husband to his appointment and I felt so grateful for all of your kindnesses. Thank you so much
What more can I say than I said before. He’s great.
In 2017 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After a 11 month treatment, we felt I was as free of this Cancer as possible. In mid 2019, thanks to routine bloodwork, it was determined my cancer was paying me another visit in the form of Bone Cancer. I have been receiving treatment since August 2019 and my results so far have been very positive. As I told Dr. Downie in a recent visit "you and your team are the experts; i trust you with my life".
I had a consult with Dr. Downie today. He was very considerate and I do not have to go back to him. He recommended I see a different specialist.

I've been seeing Dr. Downie for 18 months for treatment for a rare cancer. He is caring, thoughtful, professional and just all-around one of best doctors I've ever known either as a patient or as a nurse. I highly recommend Dr. Downie.
He's a very proactive doctor. He also explains medical conditions in an easy to understand way.
