Chef Muhammad Uddin has put the considerable experience he gained at Moghul Palace and India Express to work in his own restaurant called the Bengal Tiger at the north end of the University District. Uddin works the tandoor oven with a gifted touch, with the chicken coming out juicy and hot. He also brought his mussel curry recipe from Moghul Palace, reputedly a favorite of Bill Gates. The samosas are also excellent.

Great Indian Food - Nice atmosphere – There are many good Indian restaurants in Seattle - but Bengal Tiger stands near the top because they are consistent, and they have excellent service. Every dish I've tried there is good. The atmosphere is a little bit sterile, but it's nice.
Excellent Indian – There are tons of Indian places out there. This is one of the better ones. The curries are excellent. Nans and samosas also.
Best Indian Food!! – I love their lamb dishes, especially with the sweetness of mango!! It's really a yummy must-try!!
Search No More... – My girlfriend and I have been dining at Bengal Tiger for a while. The food is absolutely amazing! Our list of favorite dishes grows with every visit. Unsure of what to try? Owner Muhammad will gladly suggest one of his tasty specialties. We suggest the mango wala...words cannot begin to describe it! Trust me, Bengal Tiger is a restaurant you don't want to pass by.
The Best! – I was so impressed with the food at the Bengal Tiger, my roommates and I brought all of our friends and guests from out of town to eat there. I recommend this place to anyone looking for some great Indian food and awesome service! Out of all the entrees I've had, I would say that any of the lamb dishes and an order of potato or their paneer nan is the way to go!
Best Indian Food – I have tried nearly all of the Indian restaurants in Seattle and Bengal Tiger is easily the best one out there. The food is outstanding and the service is second to none. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
Oh. My. G-d! – The food is unreal. The service isn't the best.... but the food. Oooh! You simply MUST try this place - it's the best in Seattle, and beats everything in the neighbour city... Vancouver BC.
Best Food on the Planet – I'm an Indian cook, I've been to India, and I've tried most of the indian joints in Seattle. This place is far and away the best. Udin would be a great chef in India. He has some kind of magic in him. The simplest dish is can be fully appreciated and the more complex flavors will cause you to make those sounds ("uhnh, ooooh that's gooood, uhnh" like Meg Ryan). Some do good curries, some make good bread, some are good with meat, Bengal Tiger wins on all counts.
