Benelux Coffee is Raleigh Roasted. We started roasting our beans in small batches specifically for our cafes. The original Benelux opened on the East Side of Downtown Raleigh in 2010 with just coffee and tea on the menu. By early 2011, Belgian Wafels were added and became a huge success. We started baking most of our baked goods and creating sandwiches at our Alexander Family Y.M.C.A. location in 2012. Now we have opened our Cameron Village location in 2014. RecommendedAs I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I'd been sleeping on Benelux (almost literally) until about a month ago. One day, I happened upon some of their patrons sitting in front of the cafe eating these tasty looking whipped-cream topped waffles. I stopped in, ordered one with fruit, and was a bit blown away. The parking is a nightmare (like anywhere in the area), but I had the best caramel frappe I have ever had (beats Starbucks by miles). They play great music, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It was a very good spot for a date.

Great coffee and waffles. The staff is so nice and welcoming. This is the best place to hangout and grab coffee. I go to Benelux almost daily for coffee, they even know my order. I would highly recommend to anyone�

Awesome coffee, fun atmosphere with the cycling gear and the wall mural entirely constructed from coffee beans, and you HAVE to try the wafels!! Amazing!! I got mine with butter and caramel...pure heaven (with a side of diabeetus)! �
