There are wonderful bike stores in Bendigo that will help you out when there are any issues. I’m kicking myself I didn’t go to one of those for a recent purchase. To help the reader; the store fitted a set of shoes after my trusty Trek/Bontrager shoes cried enough after 8 hard years.
