Coming from the West Coast, renting from Bender was my first living experience here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, that was two years ago...I was nervous, didn't know what to expect. Rented a Townhome and Emilty was the manager at the time (still is), she was fantastic, very helpful and nice. When I had an issue she was always timely in getting back to me...she was patient and put me at ease with a situation my family and I were going through. Since this company has taken over: things are improving! Salomae is a wonderful apartment manager! Our new maintenance is really knowledgeable and efficient! We are close to Walmart and other businesses. If you want a great group of people to rent from! You can find it here!
Overall, the experience renting through Bender Midwest Properties has been positive. Coming from out of town, the application process was simple. It was easy to schedule a tour with them, and they were helpful throughout the application and move in process. They respond quickly to requests, and did a good job making sure our rental was clean and move in ready.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!! Unless you wish to pay nearly $7,000 in damages that were created by there own improper maintence before moving into the property and good luck getting maintence done in a timely manner when requested, negligent management! Do yourself a favor and make sure to definitely NOT RENT the house at 1700 S 9th Ave. (They raised the rent from $1500 to now $1800 for the same poorly maintained property) They screwed my friend financially and they are a company out to steal your hard earne... read more
Unfortunately I lived at 3 Falls apartments. Thanks to Bender’s mismanagement of the property or what I should say is lack of management, the place has turned into an absolute disaster. The property is always littered with trash, people never clean up after their dogs, the neighbors are loud and unruly, There is water damage to my bathroom ceiling that lead to them having to cut into it leaving a hole that goes out into the hallway so I hear absolutely everything and it’s been over a week with no signs of them going to fix i... read more
