On a warm late summer night, the outside space was lovely. Food impeccable. The waitress was sweet, but not very attentive. She had a big party she was taking care of and we had to ask several times for water and get some bread. It did not however, sour the evening. Everything was delish and the southern bourbon beer packed a punch.
Benchmark ROCKS!!! The food is mouth-watering and perfectly seasoned and cooked to transcendency and each dish has little twists of brilliance that enhance the taste and make it memorable. Excellent wine and liquor selections. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and present without being pushy. Chef Jaronik is clever without being cute. I could wax on endlessly about the food there. If you have not been: GO! And if you have been, hurry back. I just wish Benchmark was a lot closer to my home.
Best place for dinner! Hamburgers, steaks, everything is great! Wonderful service.
