I deeply appreciate Dr Kitteredge . He correctly assessed the pain in my shoulder which was causing me to lose sleep at night I wore a lidocaine patch day and night He told me that the reverse joint replacement was the only option. Dr Kittredge was very attentive during my time with him. Offered an operative and non-operative path for a broken clavicle. Listened to my questions, concerns, thoughts…addressed them all before and after the surgery as well as all post-op follow up visits. Felt very comfortable throughout. I hope I never need another surgeon (orthopedic or any other), but if I did I would feel very comfortable with Dr Kittredge. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, you’re in great hands with him.
Looks you in the eye when explaining things; always willing to answer questions; one of the best bedside personalities; not in a hurry to rush out the door and very thorough.
Was able to get an appt relatively quickly. Dr. Kittredge saw me promptly and listened closely as I described the issues. He offered opportunities for questions and provided several treatment options. I especially appreciated that his "go to" was not the most invasive/aggressive treatment available.
I had an MRI indicating a probable ganglion cyst in my knee.? I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kittredge in less than a week. The staff at IrthoVirginia were professional, courteous and friendly, I was seen promptly and received a thorough evaluation with an explanation of the etiology of the cyst, prognosis and all treatment options. I would highly recommend Dr. Kittredge to anyone looking for an Orthopedist.
Swift, answered all my questions, knee shot was painless
They responded with an appointment very quickly. A little awkward regarding parking and brick area in front of the building with my husbands leg in a immobilizing brace on his leg. Urgent care said he couldn’t weight bear until ortho gave approval. I had to go to the second floor to get a wheelchair, go back down, get my husband in the wheel chair and then push him over the bricks to renter the building. Was very thorough, answered questions, professional, explained in layman’s terms so easy to understand why my knee was hurting. From check in to out was less than an hour, including X-Rays!!
