Very good food and solid beer selection. Any place that can offer Pliney AND Fieldwork knows how to please beer fans.
So the Nacho's are delicious, buffalo I wish they would give you more. Are drinks where delicious even though we had to wait for ever for the bartender to make it. The water we asked for was not cold. Our waiter was ok but again the food was delicious.
Wonderful pub food with excellent specials (bring back the hush puppies!), superb and friendly service from every worker, convivial atmosphere--and clean!--on top of great beer selections (Pliny!), and solidly-made cocktails when feeling beered-out. What's not to like? My husband and I spend more money here than any place in Oakland; it's our go-to place.
