They are one of the best New York Movers, I was amazed by the professional service and positive and friendly attitudes. MY all bags were delivered in perfect condition. They helped me unpack and really went out of their way to make sure my experience was painless. I will use them for every move. Highly recommend.

The thought of moving from Jersey City, NJ to Brooklyn, NY was driving me crazy! Yes I was happy about my work promotion but packing and moving is so stressful. Looking for professional moving services I came across Benhur and they actually did an excellent job. WARNING... This is for anyone that cares for their belongings, please DO NOT use this company that hires workers that steal and do not know how to wrap furnitures and office equipments. Their workers stole my clothes , my big screen tv , shoes, DVDs, Workout equipments, office electronics, my NFL favorite team's many expensive jerseys, even my job tools, they stole and on top of that they broke most of my furnitures(wall units, bed, tables, kitchen stuff, etc... and company did not take any actions against their workers and ... read more

Caused Damage, Didn't Take Responsibility DO NOT USE – Ben Hur moving was supposed to move some furniture into my apartment. Not only could they not move the furniture and then charged me extra for bringing the furniture back to the first location - they put a giant hole in the stairwell of the building. When I called them, they said they'd be happy to give an estimate for repairs. They scheduled to do the estimate, canceled and rescheduled TWICE - and have not followed up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Warning DO NOT USE this moving company – WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are LIARS and INCOMPETENT. I called Ben Hur moving a week before our move and they were able to give me a quick quote. I asked on multiple occasions if they had enough insurance to qualify because my building had a strict insurance policy requirement. The salesman on the phone promised me that they had over 10M in coverage and that it would not be a problem. A-OK! Experience with Ben Hur – had an OK experience with our NYC move uptown, but that is expected, they were decent, nothing broken, a little traffic in NYC but i guess that is expected. Im pretty happy and its hard to satisfy me.
