Like I said. I have a set of Apex irons from 1974 and 3 persimmon woods that I will never give up. Will probably be buried with the 8 iron and the persimmon driver when I go. Love the look of the new irons.
Don't look after exiting customers . Stick with Titleist .

First let me say that I have been hitting Ben Hogan irons for over 30 years and to me the 2006 Hogan Apex Plus Iron is the GOLD STANDARD for forged irons. I purchased a set of the PTx irons and have played 3 rounds with them. The Hogan quality is there and I am comfortable with the accuracy and workability, but there is no WOW factor here. They are OK, not what I expected. The bad part here is that the The Ben Hogan Golf Company does not accept returns, so I will play with them and make them work, it is a work in progress.

Hi Tim - we are sorry to hear this and quite different from what we have heard on the PTx irons. Unfortunately, and like most other golf manufacturers, we do not accept used clubs back. However, with that being said, we do offer a demo program allowing everyone to test out the product before they purchase our sets. If you have any other questions, we would be happy to help.
great irons well made not too expensive highest quality
My husband's PTx irons lasted about a year. Heads started flying off and twisting on the hosel. Makes for an unhappy golfer/husband...No help from the company either.
