Unfortunately, he has been the worst doctor I’ve ever dealt with — not just for my kids, but even compared to doctors I’ve seen myself. During our first visit, my 4-year-old was having a meltdown because of a traumatic experience. Our son has been seen at PCH for 19 years for a leg growth issue. When our beloved orthopedist at PCH retired we tried someone at a different hospital and felt like we were in an assembly line, with only one choice given to us— one we didn’t like for a host of reasons. I like him. A lot. Dr isn't there to talk story, he was there to put his expertise knowledge to use and help my baby. We're not here for therapy. My baby has been cared for amazingly by Dr Belthur AND his friendly staff.. if you want to talk story, they're the social ones to chat with. Gabe is the SWEETEST!! Dr doesn't sugar coat anything and I'm grateful for it. I'd recommend him to anyone needing his help for their child. I'm so very grateful we have been with him.
My experience with Dr. Mohan Belthur and his team was extremely disappointing. The customer service provided was well below acceptable standards, and the nurses and staff were unhelpful and rude. Dr. Belthur himself lacks essential customer service skills, as evidenced by the significant delay my child experienced on the day of her surgery. Waiting for 4 hours past her appointment time before the surgery began is simply unacceptable. This kind of service is not what anyone should expect or tolerate in a medical setting.
Dr. Belthur is the BEST!! My 16 month old was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and needed surgery. My pediatrician referred me to another doctor, who immediately told me he didn’t feel confident taking my daughters case and said she was going to need a big surgery.
