Customer service is not helpful at all. There was no interest in why the new adjuster screw I installed failed after only a few miles. No interest in all the parts it damaged when it broke. The only interest was in selling me another adjustment screw. I followed their instructions on installation and the adjuster screw broke off behind the jam nut. Of course to them I over tightened it.

I recently purchased a complete BDL belt drive kit! I actually ordered the wrong kit for my bike, I sent an email to customer service to ask about what I needed. Scott emailed me back the next day! He advised me what I actually needed for parts (I have a hydraulic clutch vs. cable clutch). We even swapped pictures to make sure. I only needed to get the pressure plate machined and have a throwout bearing pressed into it. Scott actually advised this, and insisted that I not spend extra money that I did not need to! Poor Customer Service! Don't Stand Behind Product! Rip-Off. Purchased SH600. Broke in a matter of months. Parts flew off bike at highway speeds even with red loctite as recommended. Failed to stand by warranty. Had to fix alter/modify existing drive to make it work again from its poor design after it broke. I had to purchase additional parts "only from BDL" which flew off. They sent used ones under auspice the parts were new. Paid for UPS Shipping and they sent FedEx Shipping while they pocketed my overpayment in Shipping. N... read more

I purchased a bike a couple years ago that has a BDL open primary on it. This morning while doing some work and replacing the clutch plates I broke a bolt that's not something standard. I left a voicemail and also sent an email to tech support looking for part numbers. Within 10 minutes Scott from tech support responded to my email and is sending me the parts I need. 10 minutes later, not realizing I was the same person on the email he returned my call. Called and talked to Dan. He actually was the one who answered the phone and helped me with every question I had. We talked for 10 min. I was surprised how helpful he was.

Terrible customer service spent over 1 hr on the phone waiting to talk with somebody about if there is and what it is for a torque spec on round dogs in the clutch basket and never was able to get a hold of anyone.
