I love living at the Belroy and my vintage apartment is so cute and so me. The staff is very friendly and communicative and the community is really nice, however, the vintage units are not properly insulated (if at all) on the exterior walls and I lose a lot of my heat through my floors, since I’m on the first floor. The heaters are definitely not powerful enough either and they run constantly, but rarely ever reach the legal minimum requirement of 68 degrees in the Winter. Pretty attentive staff and when inevitable issues come up with a complex of this size they do a decent job at addressing. I do wish there was a gym and free laundry. There was a BIG issue with the method in which they were billing for utilities but that has been fixed, that is after tenants reallly pressed for them for months to fix it. I pay a fair rent compared to most complexes near by, and the courtyard is serene. Maintenance requests are always answered quickly and dealt with.
