BTW divers are professional, skilled, and competent and I can recommend them without hesitation. I’ve used several dive services over the years both in Northern and Southern California. What separates BTW from lesser businesses is their “Goldilocks” skill at scrubbing the bottom clean with just the right amount of abrasion. Far too many divers over scrub with pads that are unnecessarily abrasive, resulting in expensive bottom paint coatings lasting only 1/2 as long as they should. I used this service for awhile. But I always had the feeling it wasn't right. Things often would not look good Turns out they were charging me for services and then not performing those services. I had other divers look and was told the work is not being ddone.old zoncs I was just charged for, loose Zinc caps and recent corrosion on prop un attended to. When I ask owner about this , he just blows me off and ignore me. Do not trust this service.

We just did our open water certification with Skip Tucker which was awesome. He was incredibly patient, kind and loves a good joke. Waterline Diving Service Dive was super accommodating with our hectic schedules and I definitely recommend them if you are thinking of getting certified. Plus everyone in the store is super helpful and knowledgeable.
Skip was my instructor. He's genuine, funny, patient and great to learn from. I was inspired by the instructors and my fellow dive mates.
