Rented a cello from Bellwood for our daughter in grade school. Stephen helped us upgrade to a full size cello to purchase in high school. He was so helpful and accommodating in helping us find the right instrument in a price range we could afford. Highly recommend!

I live in Grants Pass, and the drive to Ashland is well worth it for the service at Bellwood Violin! When I couldn't afford a new violin for my daughter, they fixed up her old one for a reasonable price to make it sound so much better. We have also rented from them. All staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating!
We are incredibly lucky to have the expertise of Stephen Bacon in a small place like this. He knows his stuff about early instruments, has fixed my baroque flutes beautifully. And he's generous with his knowledge and time. Professional players here are counting our blessings!

Great place! I highly recommend them. I tried 5 different music stores looking for a bass, and Stephen Bacon at Bellwood Violin was the only person who truly helped. Great guy, great shop and reasonable pricing.
