My parents home was destroyed by the memorial day tornado in 2019. This company did demolition and construction. I would not recommend this company. Poor workmanship and cheap products. If I could leave zero stars I would. How does this company have an accreditation? They are dishonest at best if not outright scammers who prey on the elderly. This home still has problems popping up due to the poor/cheap/low quality parts and labor. I hope the BBB ditches this scam artist.
Doug bell is the worst! Once he got the money he ran and didn’t finish my house that was totaled by a house fire. I tried to sue, but the lawyer said he had so many lawsuits against him that I would never get my house finished or see a dime. Richard Denny with my insurance, farmers insurance in Miamisburg recommended him to me. I blame him also. They knew my husband just passed away and they took advantage. Don’t trust Doug Bell!!
Doug Bell did not follow up on damage his crew did it my house. Poor quality work took to long and I’m still fixing his screwups. Very poor quality work. Would not recommend this company.
I would like to share my experience of dealing with Bell’s Preferred Restoration (BPR). A fire destroyed my neighbor’s house and caused smoke and fire damage to my house. The quality of workmanship in every step of the restoration done by BPR was well below standard. In the contract, it states that “like for like” will be replaced. I had a house Fire and farmers insurance recommended Doug bell for the job. My husband recently passed away so I was alone and they took advantage of me. My farmers agent richard Denny had me sign over the check to Doug bell and I trusted them. Once he Was paid he quit working on my house. There is so many things wrong with it that there is no way I can afford all the repairs and finish the work that wasn’t done.
