I come all the way from downtown DC just to see Duane! It takes me the metro, a cab, and over an hour each way to get here, but it is well worth it. I've only ever been to Duane, but after searching for years for a great stylist, it's worth every minute (and penny!). Tamara Alfson
Great customer service: Products may cause breakouts The Bellini Spa is smaller that the average spa, but is very nice and the customer service is excellent. You can purchase packages for your favorite services. I have had a few facials, and each time, my skin has borken out. Before you go, you may want to inquire about the product ingredients and the chance of breakouts.
Brazilian Blowout at Bellini's I had a Brazilian Blowout done yesterday and it is amazing!! I am normally hesitant to do things to my hair but this was so worth it. There was no pain and no waiting time. If you are thinking about getting one done, GET IT! My mom and I have been going to Bellini's for years and I am so glad that I got a BB done there! Ask for Cathy Van Heise, she is the best!
I will never go to this salon again! I had scheduled to have my bridal makeup done here and then had to cancel the following week (this was four months before the wedding). I was told when I cancelled that my $200 deposit was non-refundable. This wasn't posted in their salon nor was it communicated to me in any way when I made the deposit. The Manager kept saying that she would call me back and never did. This went on for weeks before they agreed to put the deposit towards my bridal hairstylist. Not happy with cut and color at Bellini Salon I don't understand some of these reviews. I went in for a cut and color and was extremely dissapointed in both. In addition, I wish these hair salons would quit calling themselves spa's...this place is small but the staff was relatively pleasant. I won't be going back.
Totally Satisfied Having undergone a number of procedures that Dr. Gerrish has performed (over a period of six or seven years), I can say, without reservation, that Dr. Gerrish is one of the most talented physicians I know. He listens carefully and responds to his clients' needs. He doesn't hesitate to advise a client to forego a procedure that may be too risky or that is not likely to produce the results the client seeks. Jim Rocks - Spa doesn't I have been going to Belinnis for years to see Jim and Nile. Jim is not the owner any longer and I have seen many things change since then, and not for the better. Jim & Nile get 5 stars. I splurged at the spa and wasnt satisfied aftre spending $800 on facial fillers. IT DIDN"T WORK! The technician didn't know what she was doing at all. Spa gets 0 stars.
Lovely salon! I have been having my hair cut and colored here for years, and got my mother and aunt hooked as well! Excellent quality cut, color, and SUPERB highlights, at a much more reasonable price than elsewhere in the area. Lovely atmosphere, and very good customer service. All of the employees are pleasant and polite. Never had a spa treatment there, so can't speak to that, but their salon is terrific.
eyebrow wax Sometimes I wonder if the people that write on these things are employees of the place or friends of the owner. Bellini's waxing is less than adequate sometimes. Got my eyebrows done and the woman who did it made me look like joan crawford (and I'm a young woman). She literally painted my eyebrow on. So I didn't come back for many months.
