I first used Bellhop when I moved from North Carolina to Miami and had a very positive experience. I used them for my recent move within my same apartment building, and had an awful experience. I understand that accidents happen, but that is exactly why a professional moving company has insurance, right? ​UPDATE (Response to Owner): Contrary to your statement, a credit card dispute has NOT yet been filed as the charge is still pending; therefore, no funds are "frozen." You still have the power to adjust this. More importantly, I am uploading the photo of the RESERVED elevator confirmation used during the move, which directly contradicts your claim that the elevator was unreserved. A 150% increase (7.5 hours for a 3-hour quote) is unacceptable. I am waiting for a fair resolution before the bank dispute is finalized. Posting t... read more
