I understand my dental health needs work—that's why I scheduled the appointment. What I didn't expect was to feel lectured and embarrassed about the condition of my teeth. Rather than focusing on solutions, the dentist repeatedly emphasized how bad things were. I was then presented with a treatment plan of approximately $15,000.
