It was a heart-wrenching but very necessary decision to find a safe place for our mother, also known as "Big Mama". We call her that because her mouth is as big as her heart. :-) The staff at Bellara have been incredibly patient, compassionate and on top of everything for mom. Mom is incredibly happy there! Most importantly, she LOVES THE FOOD! A big win all around for mom and our entire family. Highly recommend this place!
I have been looking into Senior Living Communities that would be suit my parents and stumbled across Bellara online. When I traveled here to visit their community I found this trailer parked right outside their front doors. After reading the information on this website about the elder abuse many other communities from this management group have I have decided on a different community where I won't feel concerned for my parents well-being.
We recently made the decision to move our mom into Generations Memory Care at Bellara Assisted Living. Though the decision was a hard one to make, the results so far have proven it was the right decision to make. Our mom has had two memory evaluations: MOCA 10/30 (3/25/2025), 16/30 (8/5/2025). These scores indicate significant improvements in her overall cognition since moving into Generations at Bellara.
