My husband and I happened to have business in that part of Cheshire late yesterday afternoon and decided to stop in for dinner as a full parking lot seemed to indicate it was a popular place. Boy, were we happy we did! What a nice restaurant! We were very happy with our meals -- I had the Chicken Bellagio and my husband had Veal Parmigiana. Huge portions and the taste was outstanding. Very disappointed. We were just eating our appts and our salad and main meal came out at the same time . Empty plates were not cleaned off the table . I asked to talk to a manager no one came . Our salmon was dry mashed potatoes like cement. We love the ambiance of their outside dining it is beautiful.
The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is great, the food was just so so. The marina had no I mean no flavor and the meatballs were the same. My husband is not a fussy eater and he didn't like it at all. My stuffed sole was tasty because the stuffing was good. The fish was so thin you couldn't taste it. We had to ask 3 times for bread no big deal but still. When asked about the pasta we said nicely our opinion. Great atmosphere with the outdoor patio and live music. Never disappointed with the food, and the service was excellent! Our favorite local restaurant.
Today my friend & I enjoyed a wonderful lunch & drinks!! For an appetizer we had calamari New York style & penne ala vodka w a side of meatballs both were absolutely scrumptious!! The ambiance is perfect & we had Kory as our waiter/ bartender. He is a very nice young man & his service was superb!! We will be back!! Thank you Kory
