It has continued to grow over the years with a huge following that regularly haunt this place. meh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,not a lot to say, kind of what i expected ,,,, veal parm, like cardboard, chix parm like cafeteria food,,,,feel bad, remember Bellas as being our Italian place to go on the south shore, not any more, sorry
I’ve worked in restaurants over 10 years and am very forgiving typically. It started with one of our waters was actually vodka, and placed in front of my 10 year old cousin. She had a few sips before convincing me to try her “gross water.” The waitress just laughed it off when brought to her attention. Had to wait 25 minutes to order, as she had another big party, then another hour to get our food after that. The food was great, but the service was so subpar I’d probably never give it another chance.
My husband and I had our first night out in forever and decided that “Bella’s” would be appropriate since we live local and had been before and enjoyed it. Our waitress was so sweet and the restaurant itself is and has always been beautiful, however we waited an awfully long time for our dinner. Been going here for years. We always have loved it. Lately, not impressed!!! Went for lunch for grandmother's 89th bday. It was MLK day so of course it was busy. The dining room was closed and we were jammed into the bar. Service was terrible because they had one server for the entire bar area. In have been in the business for 20 plus years and on a holiday it's always busy. Management must be aware to schedule accordingly. I haven't been to Bella's in several years but it always held a special place in my heart as it was where my husband and I had our first date 24 years ago and it was always the Harvard Pilgrim employees go to place. I had a reservation for four last night and upon our arrival, we were greeted by the frowning hostess wearing jeans, a flannel shirt and nose ring.
