The Wife and I showed up 15 till closing, something I try to avoid and was actually going to leave once I heard the closing time but JJ made us feel more than welcome. The food was good as well as the service. We weren’t rushed and we were treated like they care about the customer, something rarely found in the other downtown Merced restaurants who tend to close early and have no problem turning you away.

What a great atmosphere, the food is out of this world. Best Chef around, hands down. It is a fantastic place to be and enjoy a great meal.
