The bakery was closing when we arrived but we were invited in anyway, they did not have what we were looking for either but visiting with the proprietors (and bakers) made our trip worthwhile. Gracious, friendly and caring people—not what we expected in a busy urban bakery and we were pleasantly surprised. If I am in the area again, it will be worth it to go back just to visit with these delightful ladies. The cookies were great and I know their bread would be excellent!

Amazing bakery with the most amazing owners! My daughter wanted a cheesecake for her 12th birthday and Bella Luna made us the most delicious Chocolate Chocolate Chip cheesecake! It was perfect! We will definitely return for any bakery needs and highly recommend them!
I stopped by Bella Luna Friday afternoon to pick up a free Taano that I had won on Facebook. I was so impressed with the contents of the display case - full of delicious looking cookies and cakes and other sweets. I had to try some Italian fig cookies and potato chip cookies! Just delicious. I can’t wait to order my birthday cake from Polly and Lorie at Bella Luna ‘in the ❤️ of Rockford’! Thank you ladies, the Taano was deliciously enjoyed.
I LOVE Bella Luna Bakery in downtown Rockford. I had a request for Baklava from my son for his birthday and they made me a whole pan of it for a reasonable price. It is so yummy and fresh. I also tried the coconut macaroons and now I can't wait to get back for more! I highly recommend this locally owned bakery.
My company recently ordered a last-minute client gift. The ladies at Bella Luna turned something around within a day and the presentation was fantastic! My only regret was not taking a picture of the cute basket to share on here. We’ll be using Bella Luna again.
