Happy customer - was in the market for a used wheelchair accessible van. It's important to evaluate accessible vehicles in person - inches matter when it comes to accessibility. Excellent service from start to finish! I first talked with Barry who gave me a very thorough discussion of the type of stairlift I would be getting, as well as information on the lifetime warranty and continuing service. Kirk, who installed my chairlift, has been in the business for twenty yearshe installed it in under four hours and then spent time giving me easy directions on how to work the machine. An unexpected event occurred and our 86 year old aunt was moving from Florida to live with us. We knew we had to prepare our house. I started right away researching lift chairs and reached out to 4 companies, watched a few videos and visited two showrooms. This is a great company to deal with. Quality merchandise and quality workmanship. Mark and Richard who installed my lift were terrific. They were very professional, new there stuff. Also very polite. Would definitely deal with this company again. I give them 5 stars with no hesitation.
I was sold a new, but two year old Joey Power Lift at Bedco Mobility, in 2018. Then after having to change vans after a few months; they wanted $1000 up front, in one payment! Who has $1000 laying around. I had already paid them $3990 for the lift. I can purchase the same lift, same model number, (2 years later, at a lesser price! I am extremely upset with the service and office rudeness. When we went to finally pick up the pieces of the lift (not installed); the service technician actually THREW the pieces into my van. Ma'am when relocating equipment from one location or one vehicle to another there is a substantial amount of labor and additional materials do the work properly and safely. I am sorry you did not wish to pay for the install kit that would be required to install the lift in the new van. We greatly appreciate you coming to pick up the lift after we stored it free of charge for 4 months. As you can imagine a van lift would be much too heavy for a person to legitimately throw. Only if you have to otherwise... – We took our handicap van to BEDCO on Falls Rd. for many years. The reception was always cold and their attitude was we are doing you a favor. We spent thousands (dollars) in repairs just for a door motor issue, alone. Other repairs were questionable (resprayed door hinge pulley support, supposedly replaced). On our most recent visit they charged us $89.57 to tell us that our '99 Windstar with 85K was too old to repair (door issue again). We had to take the van to Koons Ford Mobility in Anna... read more
