Best burgers in town! – The California guacamole burgers with fresh cut fries are to die for, yes they are a lil over priced but its okay to spoil your self after a good 3 hour workout!

Bad Food....Bad Value...Never Again! – Bad Service. Small portions. High price. Unequal treatment. My family and I were seated for a few minutes as we watched the waitresses stand around and talk. It seemed as though they were trying to decide as to who would have to serve us. Steer clear of this restaurant. The food portions were small and they do not come with any sides (fries, etc.). What kind of restaurant does not offer sides with the meal? Sure, most items on the menu are roughly $10.00, but at the portion sizes that w... read more

Amazing Burger Place – If you are looking for a perfectly cooked burger the way you want it then this place is for you. Although 8-11 for a burger is not necessarily cheap, it is worth it for the quality. The service is always fast and friendly and the food is always good. We are regulars and so far have never had a bad experience at this place. So if you are craving a burger that tastes like a proper burger, and not some disguisting mcdonalds stuff then choose this place.

A real disappointment – We just returned from the Memorial restaurant and it was a real disappointment. The food was definitely NOT "fresh cooked". The burger tasted like it had been cooked previously and re-heated in the microwave. The fries were over cooked. My hiusband had a chili burger and said the chili (or the burger) was not that great. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and we will certainly not return.

CitySearch Editorial Review – The calling card of this homegrown Houston chain is the burger. Its half-pound patty is ground in house and grilled-to-order on mesquite wood coals, which is why locals have been loyally naming it among the best in the city for years. Other menu items include seared ahi tuna and a center cut filet and the fries are handcut with the skin on. The twist is that the ambiance is decidedly fast food despite the quality of the fare and the price is higher than you’d expect at a joint with a drive-thru.... read more

Houston's best chain hamburger. – I don't like chains. They tend to become slaves of corporate greed and cut corners; the result is usually under-par food. Beck's Prime might just be the exception to the rule. Not content with having a solidly good burger, they step things up with some of the best milkshakes in Houston. And best of all? It's located smack dab in the middle of Memorial Park! Talk about an awesome location. The burgers have good, flavourful beef and crisp, fresh vegetables; they finish things off with some of ... read more

Great Food even better service! – I been 2 or 3 times on weekday evenings and have tried diffrent menu items, burgers, ahi tuna, shakes and the fabulous fries. The food is always excellent. What I'm most impressed by is the staff. They are the most friendly group--they are always upbeat and positive--and really seem to enjoy working there. There is a friendly greeting the moment you walk in,when you place/pick up your order and when you leave. The restrurant is always clean. I haven't tried the drive thru--I think I would mi... read more

Best Chain Hamburger in Texas – Californian has In-and-out and Fatburger, Texas has Beck's Prime and Whataburger. I love the hamburgers, fries (that don't need ketchup) and milk shakes. It's all expensive (about $10 - $13 for burger, fries, drink and dessert shake), but you get what you are paying for. Everything is cooked on mesquite, and you can taste it. Moist burgers, fresh cut, never frozen fries, and beer battered onion rings. Also, the new bunless plates are tasty.
