This is sincerely the worst pet groomers in SD. We just moved to the area and we’re unsure where to go. My mother took my sweet baby Pomeranian in to “Because We Care” (which I had to say... not really sure if they do care) to get a cut and they shaved him BALD. Choppy, ugly, patches of pink showing from his skin. Absolutely mind boggling. Anyone with access to the internet and some sense of intellect could do a quick google search on how to cut a Pom. Our sweet little Chloe who recently passed away was groomed by Amy from her first puppy cut to her last appointment. This establishment should be called "the happy place" because the minute we pulled into the parking lot Chloe went crazy with excitement at the prospect of going in. That tells it all.... I always felt my baby was in the best of hands, and never worried when I left her there. When I picked Chloe up she was always beautifully professionally groomed and a happy camper. I recommend Because We Care highly.

So yesterday I dropped of my two kids Benji and Abby (top picture) with our groomer of over 12 years Shelz Sargent. Went to pick them up and walked out with two totally different gorgeous creatures. This was Benjis very first short cut. He looks great!! I know Benji can be a bit fussy but you wouldn't know it from his cut. Shelly is the most patient, skilled groomers there is. That's why I've always had all 4 of my Shihtzu groomed by her and wouldn't go anywhere else. All the girls at this shop are great!
Hillary is wonderful and my dog always looks so pretty after being groomed! Highly recommend!!

After my last experience with Petco grooming I was finally over them. My husband actually found this place and I must give him credit it was a GREAT find!!!! He booked our appointment with Shelly. When I met her she was so friendly and you can tell her love for dogs. Our dog is a toy poodle mix and his hair was very long, now he's a perfect 7 all the way around and looks adorable!!!
