I had the opportunity to hear Alex speak at the Associated Builders and Contractors National Conference. The message is powerful in its simplicity, and his presentation of it is moving. I have never taken the time after a presentation to stand in line and meet the person, but I did this time....because I said I would. His words are changing the way I approach people and tasks.

I lost a close friend late last year to Cancer and hearing your story of your journey with your father really moved me and has inspired me to start to get involved more and I have made 10 pledges to myself, family and friends Because I Said I Would! I saw Alex Sheen speak at a conference in March 2017 in Philadelphia. He was one of the most powerful speakers I have seen. Listening to him talk about his father was impactful. It shows you do not have to be superman to have an influence on someone's life. His "because I said I would" concept seems simple on the surface, but it goes much deeper when you think about it.
