A Plea... – This message is for the person who wrote the one bad review about this bakery. I am almost undoubtedly the girl you spoke of. Let me say that my demeanor, however grossly exaggerated it was, should not affect anyone's choice to seek out the bakeries goods and services. The product that you get at this bakery is delicious and particularly the woman who does the wedding cakes is a spectacular and very talented artist. A no-frills bakery offers goodies that will please your pocketbook and sweet tooth. – In Short Open since 1925 in old town Beaverton, this bakery specializes in delicious treats like its locally famous Almond Roca cake, crunchy peanut butter cookies, herbed garden focaccia bread, and aromatic French loaves. The bakery is best known for its wedding cakes--which can be a deal at around $2 per slice--and has a separate showroom for these elaborate creations.
Horrible Customer Service! – We went into this bakery for our first ever cake tasting and the girl that helped us was completely rude. We had no idea what we were doing, as this was our first time, and she just sat at the table staring at us. She was not helpful or even pleasant and acted as though she didn't care if she got our business or not!
The Best Bakery in Town! – Beaverton Bakery is the best bakery in town. Recently I bought some of their homemade cinnamon raison bread and it was so much better than the store bought kind. I have also purchased a German Chocolate Cake here that was excellent. It is hard to leave the place without bying a treat impulse buy.
Wedding Cake WOW! – I had my wedding cake done here as I am a big fan of the banana cake. We ended up using it as well as the devils chocolate. My cake was absolutely gorgeous...I was so happy with it as was my husband. The only down fall is the banana cake used for wedding cakes is slightly different than the real one...but the chocolate was amazing!
