Above and Beyond – I read what others wrote before offering my comments. We live far too close to the bakery, which is neither good for our waistlines nor my pocketbook. Yes, Beaverton Bakery is more expensive than a supermarket bakery. Certainly they are awfully busy at times (remember to take a number!). Bad service – it was first time for me to use this bakery since they have online service. I ordered custom made but the cake was not what i ordered. my friend picked it up for me and she waited long time for the cake.
You want your wedding to be perfect... – I had heard great things about Beaverton Bakery, so I ordered my wedding cake from them. I specifically ordered not just the wedding cake, but a sheet cake in order to accomodate all of my guests. Well on my wedding day the sheet cake never showed. Yummy. – Beaverton Bakery is awesome. I love their cakes, quiche & tarts. It's a bit spendy but totally worth it. The staff is somewhat helpful & somewhat enjoyable it just depends on who's working.
Great Wedding Cake! – I recently was married on Oct 5, 2007 and we ordered our cake from Beaverton Bakery. I have to say it was an overall positive experience. I actually did not see anything I wanted in thier books, so I searched the internet to find some pictures. The cake I found was kind of complicated with tree branches and cherry blossom flowers. At one time it was the best. – Customer service is so so. Quality is not like it use to be. Yes they still can make a good cake and for something special I would say it is worth it but the everyday bakery items are not half as good as they were 20 years ago. They seem to be living off of the name which stood for quality for so long.
NOT recommended – I agree with the customer service not being professional at this bakery. My wedding cake showed up late and was not what I ordered. I was completely embarassed at my own wedding and I hate looking at pictures of a cake that looked nothing like the one I picked out.
Takes care of their customers! – I ran out of time to make my own Barbie cake for my daughter's birthday (she had been asking for one for the last 6 months), so I decided to purchase the cake from Beaverton Bakery. A Plea... – This message is for the person who wrote the one bad review about this bakery. I am almost undoubtedly the girl you spoke of. Let me say that my demeanor, however grossly exaggerated it was, should not affect anyone's choice to seek out the bakeries goods and services.
