Why is the patty so thin now, used to be bigger especially for the price isn’t worth it.
We haven’t had BeaverTails in a while so when we had the chance here in Edmonton we bought some (there was a buy 3 get 1 free offer). They were really sweet and oily but that’s just what’s with all BeaverTails. At least it was fresh and crispy. If you’re here as a tourist I would recommend trying this Canadian classic :)
Great tasting fried pastry with various types of toppings. The BeaverTail is an iconic Canadian snack. My personal fav is the “Classic”, cinnamon and sugar. Cooked to order, you get it hot out of the fryer. Service was very good.
We brought the kids to try BeaverTails for the first time and they were instantly hooked. I honestly forgot how good these are, warm, crispy, and the perfect mix of sweet and nostalgic. The Beaver Bites were a hit too, especially for sharing with little ones. My personal favourite ended up being the BeaverDog. I tried it for the first time and it was amazing! way better than I expected. Great service and such a classic Canadian treat. We’ll definitely be back.
