Overall a BIG disappointment I read the other poor review, we must have had the same aesthetician. A colleague of hers told me she has been there 13 years! In this case, experience doesn't seem to help. This is a list of why I will never get a facial there again: 1. Very rushed and somewhat rough massage, it would have been more relaxing if it were left out completely. 2. Good facial, overcharge, eventually resolved I bought my girlfriend a gift certificate from Spa Finder, which she used at Beauty Clinica. She was very happy with the facial, but the money end of things turned into a bit of a hassle. The gift certificate was for about double the amount charged for the first visit. The spa cashed in the whole certificate and issued a receipt for the unused amount, which they said could be used on a subsequent visit. Beauty Clinica Fixed my Back!! I received a gift certificate from my co-worker for this place. I have had 2 massages at Beauty Clinica and the sciatica that I have been suffering with for the past 6 months is gone. My massage therapist not only worked on all the right muscles but she also gave me stretches to take home. I haven't tried any of their other services so I can't comment on that, but their massages are amazing!!!
Great Experience My girl friends and I went for a bridal shower at this place. We had mani/pedis and got our hair done. Beauty Clinica really made that day special for us. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous, and we were ready on time. I absolutely recommend this spa for your bridal needs.
Best Massage in Town I have frequent massages due to a bad back and therefore have been to many different spas. I now go to Igor at Beauty Clinica Day Spa exclusively because of his experience and great massage techniques. The Esalen Massage is one of his specialities. Not only does he give the best massage I have ever had, but his concern for the client's total well being is to be commmended. The spa offers affordable packages.
Excellent Facial My husband got me a gift certificate for this place. I admit I was skeptical after reading all these reviews, but decided to give it a try anyways. I am so glad I did that. This have been by far the best facial I have ever received. The extractions were nearly painless, and the products smelled great. I got a great massage, and my skin looks amazing. I recommend this SPA 100%.
Expensive mistake: Beauty Clinica Day Spa I had the Hydrating Facial-The facialist hardly examined my skin-She put product on my face and left the the room three times..each time she came back smelling of smoke! Gross! One had the feeling she couldn't wait for the whole experience to end-It was suppose to be 75 min but it was more like 60 min. The whole process was mechanical-Very similiar to LaBelle..
Great spa, great price I have been to many spas and what got me into Clinica is their great introductory offer. I think it was an hour massage for $50 dollars which is very inexpensive for Palo Alto. My massage was great and though the spa is not fancy it is clean and the staff is great. I highly recommend this spa.
Elegant Facials and Comfortable Prices This was my first facial experience, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My skin was in pretty bad condition when I first came in--dry and oily as well as clogged pores. I was given a generous amount of samples and advised on a routine. When I came in 3 weeks later my skin was so much better. My second visit was one week before my wedding and my second facial did the trick. My skin in better than it ever has been.
