This was my first hair experience at Beauty Brands. Shelby was awesome, sweet and very easy to talk to. She also waxed my eyebrows which turned out AMAZING! When the other stylists started to stare and ask all the dreaded hair questions, I started to feel like an exotic exhibit at the zoo instead of a human being with a different hair texture. But Shelby made me feel comfortable, which was a big deal for me since it's hard to find a salon that does black hair. She's the only one I know of in Lawrence who is willing to bother... read more

I had a really great experience here. My stylist was Rosalia and she was very accommodating and great at making sure the outcome was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be scheduling my next appointment with her.

I had my first Beauty Brands experience today and got a haircut from Kendall and she did a fantastic job. She understood and gave me exactly what I wanted. I really liked the salon area and the products used were great. I will definitely be booking my next appointment with Kendall!
