Please avoid this practice. I have seen Dr. Rivera over the past four years and I cannot take it anymore. I initially became her patient due to the departure of my previous doctors, and unfortunately, my experience with her has been deeply disappointing. Dr. Rivera frequently interrupts me when I try to explain my symptoms, which results in an incomplete understanding of my health concerns. Very organized run practice. Dr. Barnes addresses my needs. He’s a kind through doctor. His assistant is very kind and through.
Absolutely horribly run practice. They forced a virtual appointment but when I met with the DR she said she had no idea why they would book a virtual appointment for a respiratory problem. They still billed my insurance even though they did nothing. They also won’t refill prescriptions they say because an appointment is overdue mean while there was already an appointment booked but it wasn’t for another month because it takes so long to get in.
Update: my doctor is awesome and that's why I'm still here. But again, the front desk staff is awful. They'll call you names to your face and just don't care at all about your situation. If you can help it, really, find somewhere else. The only human in the front desk is the bearded guy, everyone else is a demon. If you wanna die, this is the place to go. People are rude and condescending. Talks to you like you're stupid and just doesn't care about you. Take my advice and change your PCP, as I will.
Dr Nolen is an ABSOLUTELY amazing doctor!! She takes my issues seriously, and is extremely thorough when it comes to exams and asking questions about your well being. Many reviews complain about the doctors being booked, but that’s because they’re great doctors. It’s worth it to wait it out for a good doctor to listen to your symptoms. Highly recommend Dr Nolen!!
